Korea cast coins during two eras, an ancient period coins from 960 to 1423 AD and the later Mun period from 1625 to 1892 at the time of the Chinese Qing Dynasty. Later period Mon coins represent all provinces, mints, and coin values. Mon coins can also be distinguised by furnace marks unique to Korea.
