Korea is one of four main
Asian countries to cast and circulate bronze coins after China, Vietnam, and Japan. Below is a collection of 322
coins covering the full history of Korean cast coins.
Korea cast coins during two eras, an ancient period coins from 960 to 1423 AD and the later Mun period from
1625 to 1892 at the time of the Chinese Qing Dynasty. Later period Mon coins represent all provinces, mints, and coin values.
Mon coins can also be distinguised by furnace marks unique to Korea.
